Jay Chou Carnival II World Tour — Kuala Lumpur
Jay Chou debuted in 2000, and Carnival II is his new tour marking 25 years, with a theme for every city. Malaysia’s is “Rice Field Malaysia”, after Rice Field, which he wrote and composed for his album Capricorn. The show is on Saturday 23 January 2027 at 7:30pm at the TM National Stadium in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur; the promoter says the stage, props, effects, lighting and visuals are all new, with new songs alongside the classics. Tickets are MYR 388–1,138 plus booking fees.
Malaysia’s stop takes Rice Field as its theme, a song Jay Chou wrote and composed for Capricorn about returning to your roots and getting up again after a fall.

The promoter links it to Malaysia itself, from kampung breezes and wide paddy fields to city lights, a land that shares the song’s longing for a simple life.

Twenty-five years on from his 2000 debut, the stage, props, effects, lighting and visuals have all been redesigned, with structures the promoter says have never been used before.
