BTS World Tour ARIRANG Jakarta
The ARIRANG tour is the first time all seven have toured together since military service, and their first full-group return to Indonesia in nine years. Jakarta gets three shows at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK): Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 December, plus an added show on Tuesday 29 December. The stage sits at the centre of the stadium with the audience all around it, and every seat is numbered.
Jakarta also has a 360-degree stage: it sits at the centre of the stadium, with the audience in a ring around it, all of them seated.
The seven turn to face each side in turn, and every change of formation gives you a new angle; much of the movement plays out in front of you rather than on the big screens.
RM, SUGA and j-hope rap, Jin, Jimin, V and Jung Kook sing, and a song often changes hands line by line.
On a centre stage a change of voice is a change of place too: one steps back as the next turns to another side, and someone is singing to every part of the ring.
