A Monday night in Melbourne.

5 Seconds of Summer — Melbourne

Australian band 5 Seconds of Summer formed in Sydney in 2011, and their sixth studio album, Everyone’s a Star!, came out in November 2025; the band calls it their most ambitious era yet. The new tour plays Rod Laver Arena at Melbourne Park on the evening of Monday 2 November 2026, with Cub Sport opening; the venue page gives 7pm as the start and AXS gives 7pm as doors. Melbourne Park has changed ticket agents: tickets bought on Ticketek have been reissued by AXS, the old Ticketek tickets no longer get you in, and entry is with the tickets in the AXS app. AXS lists no prices and says they may rise or fall at any time.

Everyone’s a Star!

Their sixth studio album, from November 2025, is what the band calls their most ambitious era yet, a deliberate return to heavier rock, with the singles Not OK, Boyband and Telephone Busy.

They wanted to extend the tongue-in-cheek tone of their debut and lean further into irony and satire, with visuals drawn from Y2K and 2000s fashion.
