Foo Fighters · Take Cover Tour Townsville
Foo Fighters’ Take Cover Tour reaches Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville on Saturday 7 November, with Full Flower Moon Band and DOWNGIRL opening. The band released its 12th album, Your Favorite Toy, in 2026; the organisers say the tour will mix songs such as Everlong, My Hero, Learn To Fly and Times Like These with songs from the new album, though no full setlist has been published.
Everlong, My Hero, Learn To Fly, Times Like These: songs tens of thousands have shouted together for decades, and the organisers say the tour will play songs like these.
When the chorus comes, the front row and the back row are singing the same line.
The band’s 12th album came out in 2026, its title track a return to garage rock, loud and full of guitars; the organisers say new songs will be played on this tour too.
Six people are on stage: Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffe and Ilan Rubin.
Each stop has its own opening acts; in Townsville they are Full Flower Moon Band and DOWNGIRL.
Catch the openers, then wait for Foo Fighters to take the stage: a whole night in the stadium.
