Foo Fighters · Take Cover Tour Montevideo
Foo Fighters’ Take Cover Tour reaches Estadio Centenario in Montevideo on Tuesday 23 February, with Niña Lobo and Gamepad opening. The band released its 12th album, Your Favorite Toy, in 2026; the organisers say the tour will mix songs such as Everlong, My Hero, Learn To Fly and Times Like These with songs from the new album, though no full setlist has been published. It is Foo Fighters’ first visit to Uruguay.
Everlong, My Hero, Learn To Fly, Times Like These: songs tens of thousands have shouted together for decades, and the organisers say the tour will play songs like these.
When the chorus comes, the front row and the back row are singing the same line.
The band’s 12th album came out in 2026, its title track a return to garage rock, loud and full of guitars; the organisers say new songs will be played on this tour too.
Six people are on stage: Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffe and Ilan Rubin.
It is Foo Fighters’ first visit to Uruguay; Niña Lobo and Gamepad open.
Catch the openers, then wait for Foo Fighters to take the stage: a whole night in the stadium.
