LUCY: ISLAND Encore · Singapore 2026
LUCY formed on the Korean band audition show Superband in 2019: Shin Ye-chan on violin, Choi Sang-yeop on vocals and guitar, Cho Won-sang on bass, and Shin Gwang-il on drums and vocals. This is their first solo concert in Singapore, the encore of their ISLAND concert, at the Capitol Theatre on Saturday 14 November at 6pm.
In LUCY’s songs, Shin Ye-chan’s violin often carries the main melody rather than sitting behind the band as background strings.
It trades lines with the guitar, then layers over the lead vocal in the chorus, while bass and drums hold the rhythm underneath.
Drummer and singer Shin Gwang-il is back from military service, and LUCY are a full four-piece again. April’s album Childish is the sound of that reunion.
For fans who waited for his return, the drums back inside the band are the most tangible change of the night.
This is LUCY’s first concert of their own in Singapore.
One theatre, one whole evening, and on stage only these four and their songs.
