Bangkok Music City 2027

Bangkok Music City (BMC) is Thailand’s leading music conference and showcase festival, connecting emerging Asian artists with the global music industry. After its full return in 2025 it drew about 11,000 attendees and 183 industry delegates from 21 countries; in 2026 it grew to 16,000 attendees and 86 artists from 16 countries across eight stages in Bangkok’s Charoenkrung Creative District. It returns on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 January 2027 with showcases by Thai and international artists and conference panels. Artists listed on the site so far include Ben&Ben from the Philippines, Grrrl Gang from Indonesia, the Tsugaru shamisen-led Mitsune and Thailand’s Valentina Ploy. Registering in the BMC app gives free entry.

BMC FAQs (read 16 October): only the free Event Pass so far, via the BMC app; Priority Lane and Delegate Pass prices come later.

Register for the free Event Pass in the BMC app to get a personal QR code, scanned in and out of every performance area (screenshots are not accepted); choose one or two days. Registration does not guarantee entry to every stage or session, and full venues mean queues. No alcohol sales under 20; mostly standing, so not recommended for under-12s. Priority Lane and Delegate passes come later.
