Pasifika Festival 2027
Pasifika Festival has been held in Auckland since 1993 and is billed by its organisers as the world’s largest Pacific cultural festival. Since 1998 it has been laid out as cultural villages: Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, the Cook Islands and other Pacific nations side by side in Western Springs Park, each with its own stage of traditional and contemporary dance, music and storytelling through the day. There are eight stages and more than 100 food and craft stalls, from Tongan ’otai to Māori hāngī and traditional crafts. It runs on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 March 2027, with free entry.
