Aotearoa Art Fair 2027

Aotearoa Art Fair calls itself New Zealand’s premier art fair, bringing leading galleries from New Zealand and beyond together for four days of contemporary art: painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics and works on paper across a wide range of prices, with artists to meet and galleries to talk to, for first-time buyers and seasoned collectors alike. It runs from Thursday 6 to Sunday 9 May 2027 at the Viaduct Events Centre in Auckland, with tickets on sale in February 2027. Outside, the free Sculpture Trail returns in 2027; in 2026 it set 25 large works by 19 artists around the Viaduct Harbour, including Gregor Kregar’s mirrored stainless-steel cloud floating on the water and glowing with neon after dark.
