2027.03.04 — 2027.03.21 · Coming soon

In March, a pub in Auckland bursts into song.

Te Ahurei Toi o Tāmaki Auckland Arts Festival 2027

Te Ahurei Toi o Tāmaki Auckland Arts Festival brings artists from Aotearoa and around the world to Auckland’s theatres and public spaces every March, and drew more than 188,000 attendances in 2026. The 2027 festival runs from 4 to 21 March, and its first act is the Olivier-nominated The Choir of Man, four years in London’s West End: the Spiegeltent in Aotea Square becomes an English pub with a real bar on stage, as nine performers sing, tap dance, perform slam poetry and play instruments through pop, rock, folk, Broadway and pub favourites. It is the show’s New Zealand debut, exclusive to the festival. More shows follow in the coming weeks.
