Sydney Royal Easter Show 2027
Run by the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW at Sydney Showground in Sydney Olympic Park, the Sydney Royal Easter Show is built around agricultural and craft competitions. Over 12 days in 2026 it drew more than 800,000 visitors and 7,000 exhibitors, with over 9,000 competition animals from more than 400 breeds and over 27,000 entries judged in 80-plus competitions, plus woodchopping, a nursery of more than 700 baby animals, a human cannonball, high divers, a night parade of 50 illuminated animal lanterns and a one-night drone show, with up to 12 hours of entertainment on one ticket. The 2027 Show runs from Friday 19 to Tuesday 30 March; tickets and the programme come later.

Woodchopping and hand-milking
Last year’s woodchoppers went through about 3,000 logs, and some 1,302 litres of milk were hand-milked in the milking barn.
