2026.10.09 — 2026.10.11 · Ended

F1’s first night-race circuit: cars hugging the barriers under lights, and concerts right beside the track.

Singapore Grand Prix 2026

The Singapore Grand Prix runs through the streets of Marina Bay at night. 2026 is a sprint weekend: practice on 9 October plus qualifying to set the grid for Saturday’s short race; on the 10th the sprint, then qualifying for Sunday’s grid; the Grand Prix on the 11th. The stages beside the track have big names all three nights: JJ Lin, Split Enz and K-pop group CORTIS on Friday; The Killers, Goo Goo Dolls and Zara Larsson on Saturday; Lana Del Rey, Janet Jackson and James Arthur on Sunday. The day and zone on your ticket decide which race you see and which artists you hear.

What draws you to this experience?

01

A sprint weekend: racing on two days

This year there is a sprint on Saturday: short, with no pit stop required, so drivers fight for places from lap one; Sunday brings the full Grand Prix.

The two days have two rhythms: Saturday a flat-out dash, Sunday close to two hours of strategy, where tyres and pit timing decide the order.

Three nights of concerts beside the track

Plenty of people come for the stages: JJ Lin on Friday; The Killers of Mr. Brightside and Goo Goo Dolls of Iris on Saturday; Lana Del Rey and Janet Jackson on Sunday.

Also on the bill are Split Enz, K-pop group CORTIS, Zara Larsson and James Arthur; the DJ stages have DJ Snake, Major Lazer Soundsystem and Mark Ronson, with Wang Linkai (GHOST) and others on further stages.

At night, it is all about the light

Under the lights the cars skim the barriers, and the sparks and the red glow of the brakes stand out far more than by day, with the skyline behind.

Buildings split a street circuit, so each grandstand sees a different stretch: the whole grid launching at the start, brakes glowing into a corner, or a flash down the straight.

MAKE IT YOUR EXPERIENCE

Does this fit what you are looking for?

This could be for you if you are…

  • Fans who want F1 speed in person and will choose a grandstand for a particular corner
  • People going for JJ Lin, The Killers, Lana Del Rey or Janet Jackson, and seeing F1 for the first time along the way
  • Anyone who wants the race, the city at night and a concert in one trip

Before you decide

Which stages you can reach depends on your ticket’s zones: a Zone 4-only walkabout will not get you to Janet Jackson and Goo Goo Dolls on the Zone 1 Wharf Stage; Zone 1 and 2 tickets reach all general zones.

Grandstand seats, walkabout passes for set zones and hospitality packages with food and lounges differ widely in price; single-day walkabouts start at SGD 198, and availability changes by day.

Under-12s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times; the organiser strongly discourages bringing children under 7.

The line-up and set times may change; the F1 site may show times in your own time zone, so convert to Singapore time before you go.

Unlike TV you cannot switch cameras, so the big screens are how you follow the whole race; a 2025 spectator’s advice was to pick somewhere with a big screen.

A Sunday ticket gets you the full race; Saturday gets you the sprint and the qualifying that sets Sunday’s grid; for both, compare multi-day tickets. Exact session times follow F1’s official schedule.

With young children, use the family viewing area off Connaught Drive.
