Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show 2027
The Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show fills the World Heritage-listed Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens with show gardens, floral displays, installations, designers and horticultural talent, plus workshops, competitions and shopping. In 2027 it runs for five days, Wednesday 17 to Sunday 21 March, with Gardens by Twilight opening until 9:30pm on Friday and Saturday. The show bans floral foam and uses digital maps to cut printing. Its 2026 Best in Show was We the Wild by Ratio and landscape designer Matt York, which drew on Victoria’s southern coastline to fit native planting, granite outcrops and seasonal meadow into a small space.
