One collector, a room full of masters.

From Rembrandt to Monet and Van Gogh: Masterpieces from the Hammer Museum

The Hammer Museum opened in Los Angeles in 1990 around the lifelong collection of the industrialist Armand Hammer (1898–1990). This is the first time since then that the collection comes to Japan in depth: about 70 works by Rembrandt, Moreau, Gauguin, Van Gogh and other masters, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum from 11 September to 12 December 2027, also looking at the collector’s eye. Prices and opening hours are not yet announced.
