One river, one night of fireworks.

Brisbane Festival 2027

Brisbane Festival calls itself Australia’s favourite springtime international arts festival, running from 3 to 25 September 2027. Its centrepiece is Riverfire on Saturday 4 September, Brisbane’s biggest night and the festival’s opening: Foti Fireworks light the sky from bridges, barges and rooftops, turning the Brisbane River into a stage of sound and light, free for all. The rest of the theatre, music and outdoor programme is traditionally announced in June; no date has been set for 2027.
