Snow Machine Hakuba 2027

Snow Machine is a snow music festival in Hakuba, Nagano, now in its fifth year. By day its après stages sit on the slopes of four Hakuba Valley resorts from 11am, so you can ride a few laps and then dance; when the lifts stop, the Main Arena lights up, with a main stage and a second stage of nightly takeovers in 2027. Après stages run from Wednesday 3 to Saturday 6 March, and the Main Arena on the three nights from Thursday 4 to Saturday 6 March. The first lineup includes TOKiMONSTA, Kettama, Wilkinson, Patrick Topping, Sneaky Sound System and Elderbrook (DJ set), with set times to come.

Venue & travel

Happo-one, Hakuba (après stages across four resorts)

Take the shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Nagano and a bus to Hakuba (Happo bus terminal); free resort shuttles and the paid Hakuba Valley bus link the resorts.

Entry & companions

The Main Arena is 18+, with photo ID checked every night (passports for international visitors); Japanese law allows alcohol sales only to those 20 and over. The four-day ticket covers après stages at four resorts and three Main Arena nights, without accommodation or lift passes.
