TCS London Marathon 2027
For one year only, the 2027 London Marathon expands to two days, Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 April, with 100,000 runners in total on the same Greenwich-to-Westminster route. 1.33 million people entered the ballot. The elite women and the elite men each lead one day’s mass race, with the days still to be confirmed; on Friday 23 April more than 20,000 children run the Mini London Marathon.
2027 is the only time the London Marathon is split over two days: one race on Saturday, one on Sunday, 100,000 runners in total on the same route.
From the roadside you can watch wave after wave on both days, many in costume running for charity.
The elite women and the elite men race on different days, each leading that day’s mass start.
If you follow top-level racing you can come both days to see two title fights; which group runs which day is still to be announced.

Runners may race in person on only one of the two days.
The course is crowded, and stations near the start and finish may close temporarily.
