Comic Market 109 (Winter Comiket)
Comic Market (Comiket) is the world’s largest market for self-published comics and fan works, held at Tokyo Big Sight every summer and winter. The 109th edition runs from 29 to 31 December 2026, with circle stalls open 10:30am to 4pm, corporate booths in West Halls 3–4 and South Halls 3–4, and cosplay in East Hall 8. East Halls 4–6 are closed for major renovation. Details of general admission and prices come in early November.

ExhibitionsThe first Comic Market in 1975 had 32 circles and about 700 people in a meeting room in Toranomon; it moved to Tokyo Big Sight in 1996.
ExhibitionsThe organisers never call visitors customers: staff, volunteers, sellers and browsers are all participants who run the market together.
