China Open 2027 (BWF Super 1000)
The China Open is one of the BWF’s five Super 1000 tournaments each year (with Malaysia, the All England, Indonesia and Denmark), and from 2027 it is held for four years at the Chengdu Hi-Tech Sports Centre. In the new cycle Super 1000 events grow from six days to eleven over two weekends: 48 singles players start in groups before the knockouts, 32 doubles pairs play straight knockout, and every match uses the new 3×15 scoring. It is also a qualifying event for the Los Angeles Olympics. 2 to 12 September 2027; tickets are not yet announced.
